Science for the Environment 2015 - Environmental Monitoring and Assessment - 1-2 October 2015, Aarhus, Denmark

 

DCE - Danish Centre for Environment and Energy, Aarhus University, has a long tradition in combining monitoring and research to inform policy-making. Together with Partnership for European Environmental Research (PEER) and the European Environment Agency, they invite researchers and practitioners to Aarhus, Denmark to discuss the future challenges and opportunities for environmental monitoring and assessment. Save the date for the third international Science for the Environment Conference, October 1-2, 2015

 

SUBMIT SESSION TOPICS BEFORE JANUARY 15th:

In order to best reflect the current activities of the scientific community, they call for sessions and workshops to be included in the two-day conference programme. Based on the selected topics, a call for abstracts within these will be opened February 1st.

Proposals for essential topics to be included in the programme are welcomed for evaluation. Please propose a session title, a session description/motivation (max 2000 characters) and send it to environment2015@dce.au.dk before January 15th 2015. Topics may be proposed within the conference themes:

  • Environmental Monitoring
  • Monitoring Strategies and Data Evaluation
  • Legislation and Management
  • New and alternative Methods for Monitoring
