5. COMPARISON OF OPTIONS; 5.2. Comparing and ranking the options: The IA includes an multi-criteria analysis in the section of comparing the options. For each option one table is carried out including economic, social and environmental impacts while differentiating betwenn the destination of the pets and from where thex are coming. This tables are based on a 0 (neutral impact), + (positive impact), - (negative impact) evaluation system and therefore the comparison of the options are transparent and easy to understand. One disadvantage of this section might be that there is no cost-benefit analysis assessing the options against the baseline scenario.
